Opis zabiegu

Picosecond laser pigmentation removal is an innovative dermatological treatment that uses ultra-short pulses of light to target unsightly hyperpigmentation such as age spots, melasma, sun spots and other pigmentation disorders. Picosecond technology allows the laser to precisely and efficiently target melanin, the pigment responsible for skin color, allowing for selective removal without damaging surrounding tissue.

During treatment, the picosecond laser emits very short pulses of light that are selectively absorbed by the skin pigment. The laser energy breaks down melanin into smaller particles, which are then naturally removed by the body. Due to its extremely short pulse duration, the laser is highly effective with minimal risk of thermal damage to the skin.

Szczegóły zabiegu

The procedure usually does not require extensive preparation or recovery. Before the procedure, the skin is cleaned, and the patient and the staff performing the procedure must wear special protective goggles.

The procedure lasts from a few minutes to several tens of minutes, depending on the size and type of the area to be treated. After the procedure, the skin may become slightly red and swollen, but these symptoms usually disappear quickly.

The effects of the treatment become visible after a few weeks as the body eliminates the decomposed melanin, and can be even more noticeable after a series of treatments.
