Skin lesions, such as fibromas, warts, spots, moles, or papillomas, can be aesthetic issues that impact our appearance and, in turn, our self-esteem. Such imperfections are not always purely cosmetic; they may sometimes be early indicators of serious health conditions, including various forms of cancer.
It’s important to consult a doctor if you notice any suspicious skin lesions that progress rapidly or have irregular color and shape. One of the most effective solutions for managing these concerns is laser removal of skin lesions. At the Your Med medical center, we use a modern CO2 laser from the renowned Korean manufacturer Dana.
Szczegóły zabiegu
Before the procedure, the doctor may apply local anesthesia to reduce discomfort. During the procedure, both the patient and medical staff wear protective goggles. The laser is precisely directed at the skin lesion, where its energy is absorbed by the target area, leading to its destruction. The duration of the procedure depends on the size and type of lesion being treated, but generally does not exceed several minutes.
After the procedure, redness, swelling, or scabbing may occur, which typically resolve within a few days.
