Laser treatment of erythema with a vascular laser

Laser treatment of erythema is an advanced therapeutic method that uses concentrated laser light to reduce skin redness caused by various factors such as rosacea, sunburn or visible blood vessels. This procedure allows you to target dilated blood vessels, helping to reduce erythema and improve the appearance of the skin.

During the procedure, the doctor uses the V-Laser vascular laser from the well-known Korean manufacturer Wontech, which emits light with a specific wavelength, effectively reaching the blood vessels responsible for erythema without damaging the surrounding tissue. The laser energy is absorbed by the hemoglobin in the blood, which causes these vessels to heat up and effectively close, reducing skin redness over time.

The procedure typically lasts 15 to 30 minutes and is relatively painless, although some patients may experience a mild burning sensation or warmth during the treatment. Depending on the intensity of the erythema and the type of laser used, a local anaesthetic  or cooling gel may be recommended.

After the procedure, the skin in the treatment area may be slightly reddened or swollen, but these symptoms usually disappear within a few hours or a few days. A series of treatments is often recommended for best results.
