Braces removal

Removal of braces is the final stage of orthodontic treatment, which involves removing the fixed braces from the teeth. The process also involves cleaning the surfaces of the teeth of the adhesive, performing a retention to consolidate the results of the treatment, and giving the patient recommendations for further dental care. The aim is to complete the active phase of treatment and to ensure the permanence of the results obtained.

Duration: Approximately 30-60 minutes.

Preparation: Final orthodontic check-up, and oral hygiene.

Course of action: Removal of brackets and arches, cleaning of adhesive from the teeth, taking an impression for the retainer, instructions for use.

Results: Removal of braces, consolidation of treatment results with retainer.

Recuperation: None; patient returns to normal activities immediately.
