Szczegóły zabiegu

Patient Preparation:
Before the procedure, the skin at the biopsy site is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected. Local anesthesia is administered to minimize pain and discomfort.

Performing the Biopsy:
The surgeon makes a small incision or puncture in the selected area. Using specialized instruments, a small piece of skin tissue is collected. The biopsy site is then covered with a sterile dressing.

Post-Procedure:
The patient may experience slight discomfort or pain, which typically subsides within a few hours. The dressing should be kept clean and dry until any stitches (if applied) are removed. Biopsy results are usually available within a few days to several weeks, depending on the type of analysis.
