Consultation with a dentist

A dental consultation is a basic appointment with a dentist to assess your oral health, diagnose problems and plan any treatment. It is also an opportunity to discuss symptoms reported by the patient, review hygiene habits and obtain recommendations for prevention. Consultation is a key part of comprehensive dental care.

Duration: 20-40 minutes.

Course of action: Patient interview, oral examination, diagnostics (e.g. X-ray), discussion of results, and treatment plan.

Results: Diagnosis of problems, development of a treatment plan, improved health awareness.

• Toothache, gum pain or worrying symptoms (e.g. bleeding gums, sensitivity).
• Regular oral check-ups (recommended every 6 months).
• We are planning orthodontic, prosthetic or implant treatment.
• Oral lesions such as ulcers, white spots or tumors.
• Assessment of the condition of the teeth prior to aesthetic treatments such as whitening.

No general contraindications to the dental consultation itself.

In the case of acute oral infections or inflammation, initial treatment may be necessary before a detailed assessment.
