Overlay whitening

One of the methods that arouses great interest is overlay whitening. This technique takes a lot of time, requires self-discipline and a lot of independence, but gives satisfactory results.

White teeth increase our attractiveness, give us self-confidence and, as a result, improve the comfort of our lives, which is why whitening is currently the most commonly chosen procedure to improve the aesthetics of our smile.

During the first visit, we examine the condition of the teeth and gums, remove tartar, and take impressions of the jaws on standard impression trays. Based on the impressions, individual mouthguards with shaped containers for whitening gel are made. These prepared mouthguards are given to the patient for use during the next visit. During this visit, the dentist will instruct the patient on how to apply the whitening gel to the trays. The night whitening cycle lasts up to 7 days. During whitening and for 4 days afterwards, the so-called ‘white diet’ is required.
